Busy ...Busy

Well I feel disappointed in myself as of late...at least this week.
Anyways I haven't been able to pick up my camera to take any pictures of anything and it really gets me down, life seems to be getting in the way of things.
I have to start making this one of my priorities so I have decided to do a year long self portrait photo essay starting February 1st,2011. Should be interesting you may see me at my worst and at my best at times but it is something I am going to do so I can hone my photography skills.
I need this creative outlet to keep my self sane from life's everyday monotony.
I am hoping that I can capture some really raw emotion that I don't get to see as I don't look in the mirror too often, Its going to be a really tough project for me to do as its been years since I have been in front of the camera for modeling. The years have crept up and now its time to document myself on film so I can get my creativity flowing freely again, life may get in the way and make me busy at times but I have to do this for me.

The light in the darkness

Sometimes people ask me why some of my photos feel dark, well the answer is simple I look for beauty in everything in the darkness.

I took a night time walk a couple of weeks ago and these are the pictures that really spoke to me that night.

I believe that even in the darkness the light will shine through.

now go and find your light and shine through.

My Inspiration

Everything inspires me, children, nature, animals, art and what ever grabs my imagination.

Chocolate.....Yummmm

Today was a fun day with my 20 month old daughter she and I decided to share some chocolate ice cream, fortunately she is such a little comedian that I had to grab my camera and the pictures you are seeing are of her way to enjoy ice cream. Yes she is sitting in the ice cream bucket....lol

Life

Today I shall live the life I have always dreamed, I will take the world in my hands and hold it carefully. I hope to inspire and empower all generations, you may like, love or even dislike my images. My only hope is to get you to think or feel something.
